This was an enjoyable book. Kinda like a lifetime movie.
Great book
This is a fantastic and fun twist on the "unreliable narrator" thriller. Unlike in other books of this genre like GOTT or Gone Girl, the characters are truly likable. You will root for them! I found this compulsively readable despite my non-YA age bracket. The language through the book is clear and easy to read, but beautifully wrought. A+
Wonderful! Couldn't put it down. I loved the characters and how she developed them. I love her language. Cannot recommend this book highly enough. It may be YA, but I'm recommending it to all my adult friends for a great read.

Four years ago Nico's older sister disappeared. Now she's back. Or is she? The Old Sarah was a spoiled bully; this New Sarah is loving and kind, the sister Nico always wanted. More than one person knows why Sarah went missing, but New Sarah has retrograde amnesia and can't remember.

THE STRANGER GAME is a fast paced mystery that hooked me from the beginning. Nico haunted narration had me rooting hard for her. She's a much more complex character than I had originally imagined. The mystery of Sarah had me guessing. Her brief chapters outlined how she came to be returned to her family and the abuse the endured while in captivity.

Cylin Busby created the ideal balance of mystery and heart that kept me reading all day. I will definitely look for more of her novels.
