I am lucky enough to own this book in Ebook which I got in 2014 and then the Audio versions yesterday. I loved it from word one. In Sean and Lauren's world shifter's are not allowed to date, and certainly not marry or mate with humans. Love doesn't always follow the rules and these two certainly don't. They risk punishment from the law and torture from hate shifter groups.We see them on Christmas eve. A joyous, steamy evening with unforgettable gift exchanges. I just love all of Jessie's books she knows how to make you feel like your apart of there world she just has some type of writing magic...this short novel was so sweet and the steamy sex scenes were grate!!! I love how Sean never gave up hope and almost died trying to be back with her.....great job Jessie!!!

Kept ordering and this one was as good as the first. Glad to she the shifters win....
Loved it I really enjoy the sexual part, this story had me reading it straight through that's how good it was. Need a man right now also, but hey that's what these are for a great read, a relaxing read, and a way to get us hot as hell. Well this story did all that an then some, panty wet and still excited, let me go. You will really enjoy.

A warm and fuzzy mixed with a big dose of humor story of a cougar shifter guy and his delightful lover. Their love was blooming but they had to be careful that the human purifiers never found out. With their love intact drama follows with a car crash, the cougar shifter kidnapped, and all on Christmas day!
I'm not going to give the ending away because you will enjoy reading this novella. So grab a copy and start reading!
I have read this book before, the whole cascade series from Jessie Donavan, and I just love them! Her writing style has a flare of its own. The stories end, but blend I not the next story of the series perfect. Sexy, hot shifters with a little drama make great break from life!!
